Really, Sliced bread was invented in 1927 and began production in 1928. wonder bread then promoted the product in 1930. In 1943 the united states banned sliced bread as it was wasteful, and they could have been building tanks while they were slicing bread. Sliced bread was considered a major timesaver. Imagine slicing your bread in the morning yourself!. anyway, the greatest invention since sliced bread was the internet. The internet was formed, in a way, as ARPA in 1958 by the united states. The internet became worldwide in 1983. This means that the greatest thing since sliced bread came 30 years after sliced bread and widespread use came 55 years after.
